I'm Jessica MacPhee, owner of Soleil Bar, and I'm SO EXCITED to be your new "Sugar Mama".  With 5+ years of sugaring experience and  a nursing background (of 10 years), professionalism and safety are not only important to me, but are like second nature to me. I have learned how much I love empowering women through spray tans, and wanted to expand my services to include the intimate art of body sugaring. I want all women to know that they are beautiful and powerful and that they deserve THE BEST. I'll be the first to admit that it can be terrifying to bare it all. I want you to know that ALL bodies, and all ages are welcome, whatever thoughts are going through your mind, please put them aside. We welcomed Stef to our team in June of 2024 and she's been an absolute staple ever since. She underwent the same intense formal sugaring training as Jessica (theory as well as hands-on) and has perfected her skill to ensure you receive the service, results and experience you have come to know and love here at Soleil Bar. Regardless of who you book with, you will be in good hands.

• LET THAT HAIR GROW!! Avoid any shaving or hair removal and trimming. We need hair thats about 1/4 inch long, or about the length of a grain of rice to work with.
• Begin exfoliating the areas to be sugared to remove any dead skin that might be hiding ingrown hairs.

• Do not exfoliate
• Do not apply any creams, oils or deodorants (if you have no wear deodorant to your appointment that's fine! We will provide cleansing wipes for you)
• Do not shave/trim area to be treated
  

Because sugaring removes the entire hair, it results in open hair follicles that need to be protected for 24 hours to avoid the risk of inflammation/infection. 

WE CALL THIS THE 24 HOUR RULE and recommend that you ignore the following:

• SEX (brazilian/bikini area)
• Swimming, hot tubs, baths & saunas
• Sweating & working out
• Tanning Beds, lotions and spray tans
• excessive sun exposure

Feel free to use any of our aftercare products (fur oil, SugarSMAC lotion and tonic) but avoid soaps, perfumes, deodorants, and other lotions on the treated areas for 12 hours.

DO NOT exfoliate the treated area for atleast 24 hours and if you notice any ingorwns, please don't pick! We offer dry brushes and ingrown serum which can help at home and we also offer a "skin-vestment" treatment to treat problem areas and promote healthy skin.

Body sugaring is not intended to be a one and done treatment, Body sugaring is an investment and leads to permanency if a proper regimen is followed. This means, if you keep coming for regular appointments and resist the urge to shave in-between appointments, your hair growth will naturally deplete over time. Less hair to no hair is the optimal result.

WE URGE YOU TO GIVE SUGARING A FULL CHANCE TO SEE A CHANGE IN YOUR HAIR GROWTH PATTERNS

1. Book your initial sugaring appointment and do not shave afterward. 

2. Come back for repeat appointments every 4 weeks (no shaving in-between) 2-3 more times and we promise you'll notice a big change. Less hairs will keep growing back which means you will likely be able to go even longer in-between appointments!
